Richard grew up watching Butch Patrick in just about everything from Shazam (1974) , Lidsville (1971-72) , The Phantom Tollbooth (1970) , The Munsters (1964-66), and The Monkees 1967 Christmas episode. In that episode Butch plays Melvin Vandersnoot, a child of 10 going on 65 with no Christmas spirit. Of course, The Monkees change that by the end, and it’s a heartwarming tale that Richard and Sarah watch every year on Christmas day. Butch Patrick shares behind-the-scenes stories of working as a child actor in all of these nostalgic series and films. So we did some research and bought the top-level Platinum Annual Passes to Universal Studios Hollywood and had an amazing time! Universal has really stepped it up with the addition of Wizarding World and Super Nintendo World, so we thought this was a great time to compare the two theme parks.
