210: Kenner's Jim Swearingen and Pixar Fest
Jim Swearingen, concept designer at Kenner, is making his podcast debut! Jim worked on Star Wars toys at Kenner as the lead concept designer from 1976-1979. His career in toys took him on a journey through not only Star Wars, but Strawberry Shortcake and Play-Doh. He might even reveal the secret ingredient that makes Play-Doh work! Richard’s mother owes Jim a great debt of gratitude, since his Star Wars toys kept him quiet for hours on end when Richard was a kid. Pixar Fest debuted at Disneyland Resort on Friday, April 13th, celebrating Pixar with themed food, merchandise and entertainment.
